The room was great. I will be staying there again next time I come up to CT. The only reason I am giving this place a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating, is because when I had called needing to change my reservation dates, I was informed that I need to bring my ID and the card that was used for the reservation. I had informed the man that was on the phone that the card that was used for the reservation will need to be changed when I get there, as my boyfriend was going to be the one paying for our room, and I only used my card for the booking so I can reserve a room. The man said no problem at all, and that my boyfriend would need to bring his ID with him. I said okay, no problem and the call was then disconnected. Me and my boyfriend get there and the lady at the front said that I had to use a card that was under my name since the reservation was under my name. I had told the lady that I spoke to the man earlier in the week and she said there were no notes on the reservation from said guy, and asked when and what time I called and spoke to the man. I gave her the information. She then said that it was their policy and I had to use a card that was under my name (which to be honest, I have never heard of that policy at any hotel I have stayed at, but whatever). Luckily, my boyfriend was able to transfer me the money so I was able to pay for it. So 4 star rating because of lack of notes of the person I spoke to, because what if my boyfriend wasn't able to transfer me the money? We would've been out of a room, and we don't live in CT. We were there supporting my boyfriend's little brother's college football game. The lady did apologize for the inconvenience, but it was the principle of the matter. So just keep in mind, make sure the funds are available in a card that has the person's name on the booking. Lesson learned. I will definitely stay there again, though. The bed was really comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and the people were nice.

Pretty nice rooms! Very clean and definitely very spacious. The staff were super friendly.This place definitely deserves better than 3.7 stars. I would stay again!

Con Artists!! I had booked a stay here through booking.com for the SoundSide Music Festival at the end of September. The festival was unfortunately canceled so I immediately reached out to cancel my stay and get a refund. They gave me the run around and told me I have to call booking.com to get my money back. Hours later on the phone with booking.com and they tell me it’s the property who waives the cancellation fee. I again called the property back and told them this and they said booking.com is lying and “throwing them under the bus”. See below the proof I have from booking.com that it is indeed the hotel denying to waive the cancellation fee and keep my money. I would not suggest staying here or booking with booking.com. They are both scammers who don’t care about paying customers, only corporate greed. DO NOT STAY HERE AND DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM!!!! For the two days that I spent at the hotel I enjoyed my time. The room was clean and spacious. The refrigerator was big enough to hold all our takeout food and our early morning breakfast leftovers such as sausage, scrambled eggs and fruit. The bathroom was big enough for two people to do what they needed to do in the mornings. The bed was comfortable and there was no problem with any noise from the highway or from the hallways. The staff was courteous from the front desk to the cleaning people. I would recommend staying at this location.

It stared at the front desk. What a welcome the clerk was super nice , inviting, and friendly. The room was very clean, the shower had great pressing, and the water was HOT. What more could you want. The breakfast was good. The usual hot breakfast. The dining room was clean, and the food was plentiful.

I had low expectations after looking at photos online, and felt that the experience and decor was above what is shown in photos. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was impressive complete with a great variety from a waffle maker to juice, coffee, donuts, oatmeal, eggs, and sausage. The only downside was that the pool was closed, but that was not an issue for me as I did not plan to use it. Rooms were clean, AC worked well, all around I would stay here again!

I was weary after reading about small and noisy rooms. But was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't let those reviews sway you. I stayed in 2 rooms since I didn't book all at once. The roadside room was quiet as can be, even though I could see cars on the highway if I opened the blinds. And the issue with coffee makers in the bathroom isn't too bad. Who even uses them? Lobby coffee is always better, and if you book an access able room with a pull out sofa it is way larger than the standard king bed room. The front desk staff was also plesant.

Great family hotel option! Rooms are large, clean, and well-cared-for, with the amenities you need. Beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was sufficient.
